飲料食品飲料、奶制品以及食品的生產(chǎn)環(huán)節(jié)當中多數(shù)都需要進行冷卻，例如在飲料的生產(chǎn)工藝當中需要將液體溫度降低以便加入CO2；在乳制品的生產(chǎn)工藝當中，經(jīng)過巴氏滅菌后也需要對乳品進行快速冷卻；葡萄酒、醬油等生產(chǎn)工藝；在面粉“和面”工藝中需要加入冷凍水防止“和面”產(chǎn)生的熱量升高面團的溫度，從而降低了產(chǎn)成品的口感。上述這些應用當中，對于冷源溫度的要求一般不是很低，通常都在0℃以上，但是由于食品生產(chǎn)基本上都是長時間連續(xù)生產(chǎn)，所以要求設(shè)備具備很高的可靠性、智能化程度、快速冷卻的能力。
